Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Lineup Teased with Two World-first Features; Launching this Month

Taking a head start from Infinix, Xiaomi has outperformed almost all competitors in the industry, packing its upcoming Redmi Note 12 series with some of its world-first innovations that are sure to stir up the rivalry in the market. Along with key specifications, the lineup's launch timeframe has also surfaced, calling for an unveiling sometime this month.

While teasing its Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 series, the brand has officially confirmed two new world-first technologies in the following lineup while maintaining tension. These world-first technologies that the rumor claims include Dimensity, the unannounced MTK Dimensity 1080 chip, and 210W lightning-fast charging technology.

Redmi's Weibo handle confirms an October launch, though the official date is still under wraps. It shouldn't be long now as the month is almost over. The upcoming catalog is likely to include the Redmi Note 12 with 67W, the Xiaomi Note 12 Pro with 120W and the Note 12 Pro Plus with 210W charging support.

Rumors ensure that the Pro and Pro Plus variants of new entrants to the Xiaomi price list will boast the latest SoC Dimensity 1080 along with AMOLED screens, 50MP cameras and 5000mAh juicers.

The Note 12 Pro's chip seems to be focused on performance and gaming, with 4K HDR streaming and even up to 200MP cameras. Naturally, for a media-focused chip, this will provide fast processing and improved power efficiency.

As previously reported by DCS, Xiaomi's upcoming additions are likely to sport vertical bezels with rounded corners. The design may completely mimic the Note 11 lineup.

Double 11 is a shopping festival in China and sales are booming on many retail platforms. The October announcement of this lineup may lead to a November 11 sale. For global counterparts, sales may not begin until Q1 2023.
