ShibaSwap Takes Over: A Burn Portal Update and Fix Introduced by Shiba's Developer Team

We would like to share our appreciation and give a huge round of applause to the famous ShibArmy community.

Regarding the Burn Portal, your patience and support in acknowledging issues while calling out areas lacking confidence or waiting for fixes has been evident over the past few months.

With any delay, we understand that frustrations are heavy on the minds of many. In this we have always remained humble and approached each problem individually and when necessary. Even now, we would like to apologize for any delay in serving the community on all fronts and platforms. Please know that we are always doing our best to serve the community as we work on many fronts to stay competitive and energetic while continuing the tasks that focus on our promise to the Shib community, regardless of the state of the market. Yippee.

This makes us stronger and reinforces our commitment as we always strive to be better and appreciate every community member who supports Shib as we grow as an ecosystem and a project.

We want to provide clarity, a fix, and let the Shiba community know where things go from here regarding Burn Portal.

Let's recall that it's been months since Ryoshi Vision management shared the medium on which the SHIB Burn Portal announcement was made, months after that very team scheduled a blog post where the two teams met to potentially patch up the field. pending rewards.

The portal was introduced to both communities where they honored Shiba Inu holders and their continued energy to remove tokens from circulation in exchange for a reward system.

The portal further showcased the level of the passive reward system as communicated by the Ryoshi Vision Team (at the time) and their commitment to operating this platform in a powerful manner.

We do not neglect to acknowledge that the portal is not effectively deploying rewards for those who have burned SHIB. The Ryoshi Vision and Shiba Inu hosting teams have been notified of such issues with missing rewards. These alerts have been raised on multiple occasions by both communities and we can't thank them enough for reporting and ensuring awareness.

So why are repairs being delayed? During the process, the Shiba Inu team made numerous attempts to connect with the Ryoshi Vision developers who powered the portal, focusing on uncovering and reporting tickets/details presented by the community asking for attention and demanding a fix to the burn reward system promised by the platform.

To no avail, the original developers of Ryoshi Vision have only shown complete silence and stopped addressing any of our requests. One of them showed up throughout the process and promised to work on things, then never communicate again and let our team handle it. As everyone remembers, we made a blog that mentioned that Ryoshi Vision would be rejoining the process (this was right after that meeting where one of the original developers promised to work on gathering resources to fix it as soon as possible, but it seemed with that effort disappearing and leaving things unresolved, furthering the confusion of everyone, including the administrative members of Ryoshi Vision's internal moderator team, who had until then suffered from the same problem due to disrupted communication patterns.

Concerned, Ryoshi Vision's in-house moderator team reached out to us directly to inform us of their project to build and form a "new team" to repair the hurtful actions of their original and now missing development team, while mediating to rebuild trust in their community.

They also informed us of their focus on developing a decentralized music streaming platform and NFT marketplace to launch in 2023. We are not affiliated with these efforts, but wish them the best of luck and look forward to their future development as a project.

Due to such actions, as Ryoshi Vision moves into this massive change, and although they are breaking new ground with a new core development of their project, we have decided to completely separate ourselves from any collective effort or platform that requires Ryoshi Vision's reliance or cooperation to deploy a reward system due to to the burning mechanic and portal thus introduced.

This also allows us to protect the integrity of our own community, ShibArmy.

This blog also serves to inform the communities when we are officially ending our relationship with the burning portal powered by Ryoshi Vision, allowing them to proceed independently and allowing Shiba Inu to take full control of the platform. As a reminder, Ryoshi Vision was never part of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, but is an independent crypto project that honors Ryoshi Research, our founder, and the SHIB community.

ShibaSwap takes over Burn Portal

We know how important the burning portal has been to the community.

Moving forward, the SHIB team will continue to host the Burn Portal as part of ShibaSwap, powered by our internal development team, who are also working on other burning mechanisms with solutions such as the upcoming Shibarium protocol.

Over the coming weeks, and as the portal transitions to a fully operational ShibaSwap platform, our team will focus on the platform's communication efforts with the community.

We will be releasing the second part of this blog post to promote transparency of how the site mechanics and reward system will be applied, including informing ShibArmy of the delivery of pending rewards.

The SHIB team is also exploring ways to reward portal users for burning. As always, we welcome any feedback on how to make this process even better and more community-oriented while increasing our efforts to promote decentralized platforms in the space.

Thank you for your understanding and support during this process,

ShibaSwap development team
