Samsung Galaxy S23 Series Color Options Tipped; Limited Variety Compared to S22 Lineup

As rumors and leaks pick up pace, it can be concluded that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series is almost there. Based on yesterday's camera and battery stats report, the company managed to reveal the expected color palette for the upcoming S23 series.

According to a report from industry-reputed leaker Ross Young, the Korean giant plans to unveil the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S22 with limited color options. On his Twitter, the leaker claims that the Galaxy S23 phones will only display four colors: beige, black, green and light pink.

The post doesn't clarify if the color palette includes all three phones, or if each will feature four colors. In any case, the variety has become limited. In comparison, last year's stock S22 featured between 8 and 10 shades, with the recurring skin tones of Phantom Black, White, Pink Gold, Green, Graphite, Sky Blue, Violet, Cream and Bora Purple among them. That's about it for the latest news.

In a recent update, the rumor mill reported a leak revealing the battery, camera and CPU stats of the upcoming S23 trio, but no word yet on the price of the Samsung phone. Here is a brief overview of the manufacturer's alleged plan.

Presumably, with the exception of the vanilla S23, the Plus and Ultra variants will increase the battery capacity by 200 mAh. The battery improvements are small in scale, but add a meaningful difference when paired with the ultra-efficient next-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

The S23 Plus boosts the battery from 4500mAh to 4700mAh. The S23 ultra, on the other hand, is likely to increase the juicer from 4800 to 5000 mAh. The manufacturer also plans to remove the 10MP selfie camera on each phone and replace it with a 12MP one. Rumors also link the S23 ultra to a 200MP primary camera.
