Samsung is reportedly preparing an unannounced budget A-series 5G phone that is ready for deployment. The Galaxy A14 5G, as they call it, could launch side by side with the Galaxy A04e and M04. The Wi-Fi Alliance certification link recently updated its database with the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G entry. An official debut must be on the way.
The A14 5G is set to debut as the company's cheapest 5G smartphone. The Wi-Fi Alliance certification website lists the upcoming successor to the Samsung Galaxy A13 under the SM-A146P model. The listing doesn't reveal much in terms of hardware specs, but it does say that it will support 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi.
The file also states that the A14 5G will come with Android 13 pre-installed, which should have One UI 5.0 on top. An earlier report shared renders of the smartphone, revealing its design and several key specifications. Lets look.
On the render, there is a water drop notch at the top and a thick chin. The volume rocker and power button are on the right side. Despite its basic nature, Samsung's brand new model retains the valuable USB-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack. A trio of cameras live on the back of the phone
According to rumors, the front panel on the Galaxy A14 has a diagonal of 6.8 inches, IPS LCD in nature and supports FHD+ resolution. The mockup shows a dark black skin on the device, but more options should be available upon release. Since it is from the entry-level segment of the brand, its internal specifications could match the former Galaxy A model.
The parent Galaxy A13 comes in blue, peach, white and black leather and weighs just 195 grams. After launching in 4G and 5G, the A13 became the company's cheapest 5G model. Some European tipsters claim that the upcoming model could follow the same pattern.
