Vivo Y73t Debuts with an Epic 6000mAh Battery, and Dimensity 700 Chip

The chain brand BBK launched the new siblings Vivo Y21t, Y32t and Y52t a few days ago, and now the collection is completed with a brand new budget addition, the Y73t. The phone has quite an impressive list of features that can tip the scales of the competition in its favor. The most notable specs are the 5G chipset and ultra-capacity battery. Let's see.

Powered by a king-size 6000mAh battery, the core of the Vivo Y73t boasts an energy-efficient 7nm Dimesity 700 chipset with a maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz. The chipset comes with LPDDR4X-8GB RAM with storage options ranging from 128/256GB. If that wasn't enough, the device also has a MicroSD slot to expand storage up to 1TB.

Design-wise, the phone is a facsimile of the Y72t with a slightly improved chassis. The camera island on the back is wider and the frame has three new finishes Fog Blue, Autumn and Mirror Black. It retains the beveled back plate with flat metal edges around the phone.

In terms of peripherals, the Y73t relies on a flat 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD display with a frame-to-screen ratio clocked at 90.62 percent. Unfortunately, the display of the latest Vivo Y mobile phone reaches a maximum refresh rate of 60 Hz. Vivo's signature V-notch on the head houses an 8MP selfie snapper.

The protruding camera island on the back of the Y73t has two sensors inside. There is a primary 50MP shooter paired with a secondary 2MP macro. Since this phone is exclusive to China for now, it runs Android 12 x Origin. FunTouch OS is likely to run in other countries.

It offers triple RAM/ROM configurations. The cheapest 8/128GB costs around $194 or ~ PKR 44,500, the half 8GB + 256GB combo costs around $221 (~Rs. 50,000) and the most expensive with 12GB RAM with 256GB storage costs around $248 (~Rs. 57,000).
