Vivo's endless budget release spree continues. The brand has once again expanded its collection of mid-range phones with two new additions, the Y52t and Y32t. The former supports 5G while the latter only comes with 4G bands. In conclusion, both the new siblings of the Vivo Y21t have different SoCs built into them. Here is a list of features that the Y52t offers.
The new Y-series phone, Vivo Y52t, boasts a 6.51-inch IPS panel with HD+ resolution. The refresh rate tops out at 60Hz, and its thicker-than-average bezels have drops on the screen. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio and almost 90% screen-to-body ratio, similar to its Y32t counterpart
The Vivo Y52t has a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G SoC and runs Android 12 x OriginOS Ocean out of the box. It brings 8GB of RAM plus 128GB or 256GB of internal storage with a bonus microSD card slot that can expand storage by up to 1TB.
In terms of optics, the rear plate on the Y52t has a dual camera setup (13MP primary camera followed by a secondary 2MP macro sensor). It runs on a 5,000mAh battery that is capable of 10W charging via the Type-C port. It houses a 5MP selfie and video calling sensor on the front.
The side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock on the Y52t ensure privacy. Extras include support for two SIM cards + 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It comes in Ice Lake, Black and Coconut Peach.
The Y52t has already started online sales in China hosted on Vivo's official website. In terms of price, its variant (8+128GB) costs around USD 200 and (8+256GB) USD 230, which translates to almost PKR 47,600 and 54,700 respectively. We will let you know if the Y52t launch path crosses Pakistan.
