OPPO A77s Hits Another Grand Exposé; Full Feature-set Leaked with Renders

It's only been a month since OPPO's A76 successor, the A77, first debuted, and the brand is already planning to drop its slightly redesigned spin-off "A77s." And based on last week's report, the upcoming one is likely to hit the limelight either in late September or the first week of October.

A while ago, the Rumor-mill revealed a marketing banner that showed the design of the OPPO A77 and an exhaustive list of features. Except for a better processor and RAM/ROM configuration, the phone is identical in all respects to its A77 counterpart. Let's see.

By default, the A77s has RAM boosted to 8GB with 5GB of virtual RAM. The phone is said to boast a Snapdragon 680 chipset (a significant improvement over the earlier Helio G35). In addition to 128GB of storage, it supports MicroSD for additional space.

Right out of the gate, it boots up to the ColorOS skin based on Android 12. The latest OPPO 4G mobile phone packs a 5000mAh battery which is charged using a 33W SuperVOOC battery. The Oppo A77 also features stereo speakers, a 3.5mm jack at the bottom, DUAL SIM support, UFS 2.2 storage and IP54 dust and water resistance. Its frame includes a side-mounted fingerprint reader for security.

For photography, it features a dual camera setup with a 50MP primary and a 2MP depth mapping sensor. The notch on the front has an 8MP selfie shooter inside, capable of taking HDR images and night selfies.

The banner shows the 6.56" IPS HD+ screen on Oppo's upcoming budget. With a 90Hz refresh rate, it has a 100% DCI-P3 score and a sleek 7.9mm frame weighing in at 187 grams. The A77 will come in sky blue and star black By the way, because these specs have not yet been verified by the authorities, please take them with a grain of sarcasm.
